The Buddex is a cordless, rechargeable calf dehorner and is designed for use on young calves (1-3 weeks) whilst the horn is in the bud stage under the skin. It does this in one short operation by being pressed against the bud and cauterising the tissue around. The operation takes a matter of seconds with minimum stress for the calves
